Hal Sadoff joined Dark Castle Entertainment in 2015 as CEO and has overseen productions including Last Breath, starring Woody Harrelson and Simu Liu, Orphan: First Kill, Séance, starring Suki Waterhouse; The Expecting, starring AnnaSophia Robb; Superfly, for Sony Pictures; Suburbicon, directed by George Clooney and starring Matt Damon, distributed by Paramount; and The Nice Guys, starring Ryan Gosling and Russell Crowe, distributed by Warner Bros.

Hal has more than 30 years of experience as a senior media and entertainment executive and entrepreneur, playing an integral role in more than 450 productions and financings totaling over $3.5 billion.

Prior to Dark Castle, Hal was Head of International and Media Finance at International Creative Management (ICM), where he was responsible for the packaging, financing, distribution and sales of feature films, television and digital media. He played an integral in role in the success of Crazy Heart, which won two Academy Awards, Hotel Rwanda, nominated for three Academy Awards, HBO’s acclaimed Band of Brothers, House of Sand and Fog, The World Is Not Enough, Open Range, Carnage, and Before the Devil Knows You’re Dead.

Hal co-founded Cobalt Media Group, a premier media financing and international sales firm. Hal launched his career at National Westminster Bank in London as the Senior Vice President and Head of the Los Angeles office and, played a pivotal role in transforming the firm into a top-tier advisor and financier in the global media and entertainment sector.
